Overview
League Leadership
The Metro Columbus Hockey League (MCHL) is governed by a Board of Directors that oversees the structure, operation, and growth of the league. This dedicated group ensures that the league runs efficiently and continues to serve the best interests of participating teams, players, and families.
The Board is currently composed of four appointed individuals, each bringing experience, leadership, and a shared commitment to the success of youth hockey in Central Ohio. The Board is responsible for setting league policies, approving schedules, managing disputes, coordinating with rinks and officials, and maintaining the overall integrity of league play.
MCHL facilitates high-level competition for over 50 travel hockey teams annually, offering a consistent and competitive environment across various age groups and skill levels. The league supports teams from across the region, fostering community connections and player development through organized, fair, and challenging competition.
All Board meetings are conducted in private and are closed to the general public, allowing leadership to address league matters efficiently and confidentially. The Board meets regularly throughout the year to plan and manage the season, discuss operations, and ensure continuous improvement of the league experience.
